Maskers for Tinnitus

How to get *instant* tinnitus relief when you need it!

When Ringing in the Ears Gets Dangerous

Maskers for tinnitus are a safe way to get instant relief from ringing in the ears and other tinnitus symptoms. Thank goodness for that, because the treatment of tinnitus is an awkward prospect at best: surgery may not work or could even make it worse, and doctors are yet to find an effective means to treat our tinnitus symptoms.

Instant relief for ringing in the ears…

Most doctors will tell you that there is nothing that they can do and that we just have to learn to live with it, but to simply give up and allow the tinnitus sounds to go completely unchecked may actually be more dangerous than you realize.

Many people looking for help for tinnitus symptoms are already intimately familiar with the frustration and distraction that ringing in the ears can cause, but that is just the obvious side.

The insidious side to tinnitus that most people are not aware of is that the assorted noises and ringing in the ears can have a serious impact on your sleeping patterns.

Having a bad night sleep every once in a while is usually not a big deal, but for someone with tinnitus, the root cause of that sleeping problem is there night after night, often getting steadily worse with time.

What happens when ringing in the ears keeps you from sleeping?

Consistently not getting enough good quality, deep sleep, doesn’t just leave you groggy in the morning. It can lead to slower reaction times while driving, poor judgment, short temper, poor memory, and being even more prone to distractions…

Then there is the really nasty stuff! Lack of sleep throws our hormones out of wack, making us more likely to gain weight. It depresses the immune system, and has been directly linked to increased risk of cancer, heart disease, strokes, diabetes and the “silent killer” hypertension.

I started to see my health degenerating first hand when my ringing in the ears got to the point where I was having trouble falling asleep at night. Fortunately I found a solution that worked for me.

There *is* help for ringing in the ears…

Maskers for tinnitus can not only offer instant relief during the day, but thank goodness they made a huge difference to the quality and quantity of sleep I got at night.

Tinnitus maskers don’t use volume to drown out your tinnitus symptoms; they use special frequencies of sound to help stop the ringing sounds. The special sounds “quietly mask” your symptoms.

Unfortunately the sounds produced by maskers for tinnitus do not perfectly cancel out the sounds created by your tinnitus. For most people the actual ringing is greatly reduced or as in my case, completely eliminated with the use of the masker, but that does not leave you with pure, golden silence… instead you are left with a kind of “white noise” instead of the ringing.

For me, I actually found this new sound (along with the lack of ringing!) to be extremely soothing, and it actually helps me fall asleep even faster than I did before I had tinnitus!

An ounce of prevention can be worth many pounds of cure when it comes to getting good nights sleep. If you suffer from ringing in the ears or other tinnitus symptoms, be sure to keep an eye on your sleeping patterns!
